Ministries and Events for Women
I have watched HGTV long enough to know that I should try to at least pull things together within the same color scheme, or the same design style. But, I tend to be a shoot- from-the hip designer. No advance planning or drawings for me. I just hit the mall running, buying what excites me, looks cool, and feels right. And of course, being frugal, I try to buy almost everything on sale. So I put it all together in a room and expect it all to just “work.” Sometimes it works, but most times it doesn’t; and I usually end up needing to rethink, return or exchange most of what I’ve bought.
I am so thankful that, unlike the way I design, God designs with intent and with purpose. He knows what the outcome will look like from start to finish. Each one of us is a design or workmanship of the Lord; each one with a different color scheme and design. We are all purposefully made and designed to do “His good works” and to fulfill His purpose. It is my heart’s desire and prayer that through Alpine Chapel Women’s Ministry every woman would understand the masterpiece she is. We may all be at different stages of design, yet we are all made by one Designer. Come discover God’s color scheme and designer line for you through the ministries here at Alpine Chapel.

Announcing our newest ministries!
Pathways
Alpine Chapel is starting a new ministry for single, career-aged young women in their 20s and 30s. We are very excited about this group, which is called Pathways. Our mission is to support each other spiritually, emotionally, and socially as Christian women living in the real world. Please send us an e-mail if you are interested in being part of the group.
Contact Heather Johnson or Jessica Nichols for more information. Next meetings: January 14 & 28 at 11:00am
Thrive
A support network serving single moms and their children. We’ll meet the 1st & 3rd Thursday evenings of each month. Families will be served a hot meal at 6:30pm. Afterwards, moms will hear relevant speakers to encourage them in their challenging journey. Childcare and homework helpers will be provided for those needing assistance. To enroll or if you have questions contact Donna at 847-540-8280. This is a free ministry, but please RSVP (including number of children attending and their ages) to Donna Riemer so we can plan on food and childcare. Next Dinner: January 19 at 6:30pm
