Opportunities to serve others this holiday season...

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through simple, gift-filled shoeboxes and materials that share the Good News of God’s love. Families, small groups, ministries and individuals may pick up information in the lobby this morning - deadline to drop off completed boxes is noon next Sunday, November 20. THANK YOU ALPINE! OVER 300 BOXES COLLECTED!
The Star Christmas Tree Farm, located at 24974 Miller Road, is having a limited harvest (only 100 trees) to benefit the Alpine Chapel Benevolence Fund. If you’re going to buy a live tree, why not use it to benefit a needy family? Saturday and Sunday, November 26 & 27 from 10:00am - 4:00pm or until all trees are gone. For more information go to www.starchristmastreefarm.com. ALL TREES SOLD! THANK YOU!

Financial Gifts...
• Sheltering Oak
is a facility in Island Lake that houses 70 adults with mental illness. Between now and December 18 we’re collecting special donations of $25 to provide each resident with a Christmas gift of a pillow, pillowcase, and pair of slipper socks. Information is available today in the gym, or you can designate a gift online at alpinechapel.org/give.
• The House that Grace Built is transitional housing for women recently released from incarceration. We’re collecting monetary gifts to pay one month of rent for this unique ministry. Look for the “House” bank in the lobby this morning.
• Benevolence Fund The holiday season is especially tough on families that are suffering financial difficulties. We will be receiving our monthly benevolence offering on December 4 or you can designate a gift online at alpinechapel.org/give.
• General Fund Consider a year-end gift to help Alpine achieve our ministry goals.

Deck their Halls...
• Monday, December 5 at 7:00pm we’ll be heading to the House that Grace Built to help them decorate for Christmas and bring treats for the residents and staff.
• Wednesday, December 7th at 1:00pm we’re going to Sheltering Oak to decorate the common areas and the residents’ rooms. Share Christmas tea and cookies, carols, and help decorate inside and out. Bring unused Christmas decorations and lights from your own home.
• Bring cheer to several shut-in Alpine families and individuals by helping them set up decorations and bringing cocoa and cookies. Various days and times.
