Come and get a "taste" of what Oasis Bible study is all about at our Opening Brunch on September 14, 2010. No commitment! This casual fun filled morning begins at 9:15 am with a fabulous buffet followed by a brief introduction of the six different studies we are offering this fall. Are you new to Bible study? Join us for "Unlocking the 10 Keys to the Bible". This study gives you the big picture of the Bible story. Like a high altitude flight over a range of mountains, this small book will give a good glimpse of the highest peaks. Using ten key words from his books, Colin Smith leads the reader through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and opens doors to further inspiration.

Revelation is one of the most avoided books of the Bible today, yet the opening chapter promises a blessing (Rev. 1:3) for those who read it and keep the things written there. This fall, the In the Word group will combine Beth Moore's video presentations with our own research to unveil God's message in Revelation. We will explore the historical context of the book, as well as various schools of interpretation. With the Holy Spirit as our guide, each of us will bring our own resources and experiences to what promises to be some very lively discussions.
